Rocky Creek Hunt Club is a family oriented hunt club located on two different properties in South Carolina. One in the southwestern part of Lancaster County and one southern Chester County. The Chester property is used for managed deer, small game, and turkey hunting and is located just minutes south of Chester on Ashford RD. , And has a total of 728 acres. The main body of the club as well as a camp ground is located on the Lancaster county property.The land here is hunted following any legal guidelines found in the South Carolina DNR rule book. This area totals some 1375 acres of land along with public land and the catawba river system. Great Falls is a short drive from this land and offers food and other supplies. A bait and tackle shop with a store and a bar (The Kickstand) is located 1 1/2 miles from the leases camp ground in Lancaster county.
Rocky Creek Hunt Club has 2100+/- acres of land under lease. With the main property bordering several thousand acres of South Carolina Game Management. Located 1/2 miles from Stumpy Pond landing and Cedar Creek landing on the Wateree/Catawba river system just off Green road on hwy 97.
Rocky Creek Hunt Club is a 27 member club with dues of $850 .00 to be paid by May the first of every year. A NON-REFUNDABLE $150.00 deposit towards the $850.00 is due the last day of Feburary of every year. Each member will be allowed 3 stand locations with 200 yds in each direction. The club has plenty of areas for food plots, and some shots as far as 200 yds.
Rocky Creek Hunt Club has seen 140 class bucks taken with in the past three years and larger bucks seen during hunting seasons. Turkey, rabbit, squirrel, raccoon, coyotes and now wild hogs found in large numbers on the lease. Duck hunting on the Stumpy Pond lake is great as well. The property has cut over, tall standing pines, short dense pines, hard wood hollows, fields, and flowing creeks located through out the property.
Rocky Creek Hunt Club has a primitive camping / picnic area and a 90+ yd shooting range for its members. The land in Chester is approx. a 30 minute drive from the camp ground.
Members of the hunt club also receive a 10% discount from Rocky Creek Deer Processing which only charges $70.00 for its standard cuts and cleaning, with other cuts upon request. Rocky Creek Deer Processing is located 15 minutes from the lease on hwy 21 in Great Falls. Rocky Creek Deer Processing will also process your hog for the same price.
